Any person who has obtained a first Degree from a recognized University shall be eligible for membership of the Centre, and shall subject to approval of the Board, become a member by paying an entrance fee of Ksh. 2, 000.
26 – 30 June 2019. Made a Conference presentation to the American Friend’s Service Committee’s Dialogue and Exchange Program (DEP) Conference under the theme "Counter Terrorism and Civil Society". The title of the presentation was: “The Impact of Counter Terrorism Policies and Laws on Civil Society: Kenya Case Study." The Conference was held at the Greenfield’s Guest House, Alberante, Alberton in Johannesburg, Republic of South Africa.

The main strengths of the Kenya National M&E System include: the presence of a National Integrated M&E Plan called the NIMES; presence of a County M&E Plan called the CIMES complete with guidelines; the Guidelines and Standards for M&E of development interventions; Parliament’s role is properly recognized like the presence of Parliamentary Caucus; Parliamentary control and oversight procedures clearly established and very strong.
At the STEPS Centre Symposium, 24 September 2009, we asked delegates to answer one important question, related to our project Innovation, Sustainability, Development: A New Manifesto. The question was: "If you had to make one recommendation to the UN, or another global body, about the future of innovation for sustainability and development, what would it be?"
