Victor Kizito Kokello

Victor Kizito Kokello, is the Secretary at the African Policy Centre. Currently Victor works as a Research Assistant at the Kenya Medical Research Institute for their current Randomized control study dubbed Sustainable East Africa Research on Community Health (SEARCH) which the institute is conducting in collaboration with the University of San Francisco California.

Victor has over 6 years experience in conducting research on community development, surveys and medical studies. He has key interest in policy research, program evaluation, rural planning, impact analysis, developing grant proposals, report writing and training for capacity building. Previously, Victor has worked as a consultant (Field supervisor) for Islamic Relief Kenya – Korogosho Baseline Survey; programme Assistant in-charge of Governance and Civic Education for Community Aid International, Youth coordinator for Siaya County Leadership and Development Forum and in several different positions at Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC Kenya). Since 2005, he has been involved in several Baseline surveys, Randomized control studies and Systematic reviews by renowned research institutions like KEMRI, CDC Kenya, RCTP-FACES, and Community Aid International among others. Victor holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the Pontifical University of Urbaniana, Rome and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts Degree in Project Planning and Management at Maseno University.
